We offer an extended school day from 8:00am until 6:00pm via our partnerships with Calypso, Ready Set Stage and Elizabeth House.
Calypso run breakfast club for all children from Nursery to Year 6 in our bottom hall 8:00-9:00am. They also run extended hours provision for Nursery & Reception pupils onsite in the Early Years setting until 6:00pm.
Additionally we have partnership agreements with Ready Set Stage (offering clubs onsite) and Elizabeth House Playcentre who provide high quality after school provision daily and in the holidays at their centre on Hurlock Street.
Breakfast Club (run by Calypso) provides a calm and welcoming start to the school day, allowing children time to eat breakfast, socialise and take part in quiet activities before lessons begin.
A selection of breakfast options is available each morning including bagels, toast, hot cross buns, cereal with milk, jam and honey options.
Children also have access to a variety of activities including:
• Books suitable for different age groups
• Board games and puzzles
• Drawing and creative activities
• Table tennis and table football
• Quiet social play
• Outdoor play when weather permits
The aim of the Breakfast Club is to provide a relaxed and positive start to the day, helping children feel settled and ready for learning.
Cost for the remainder of the summer term is £4.50 per session.
From September the price will increase to £5.50 per session to reflect running costs.

We have a range of lunchtime activities including school choir and school orchestra.
We have a wide range of After School Clubs that offer numerous activities that allow our children to develop their interests and talents outside of school hours; including: Football, Basketball, Boxing, Gymnastics, Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts, Music tuition and Science Clubs. Some clubs are run in-house by school staff and some are run by outside providers.
The Extended Hours provision offers after school care in a structured, well organised and engaging environment designed to support children at the end of a busy school day.
The aim of the provision is not simply childcare, but to provide a high-quality end-of-day experience where children can relax, socialise and take part in carefully planned activities in a calm and supportive setting.
Children are provided with a fresh, warm meal each afternoon, ensuring they leave the session well fed and settled for the evening ahead.
We will also be working closely with the school and teaching staff to ensure the provision complements the school day and supports children’s continued development.
Activities are designed to encourage confidence, creativity, teamwork and independence while still allowing children time to unwind after a full day of learning.
The programme balances structured activities with opportunities for free play, creativity and calm wind-down time before home time.
