First we walked a long, long way along a path. It took a long time but it was good for our muscles! Half way there we had our beautiful snack on the old train platform. When we got there we ate our lunch. It was delicious! Finally we went microhabitat hunting and we found wiggly worms, slimy slugs and eerie earwig. It was spectacular!

Our trip to Highgate wood:

We went to Highgate wood on Friday. It was a very tiring journey for some people and it started like this. We were in walking in Finsbury Park and we went over to an old bridge and crossed it. First we went past houses at the very start. There was lots of nature to look at. We had our snacks on an old platform were a railway track used to be. I just had an apple. Then it was lunch. I had a medium lunch and it was delicious!!!!! Finally we arrived at Highgate wood and had a mini beast hunt. I found 2 eerie earwigs, 7 wiggly worms, 2 beautiful beetles and 1 slimy slug which was getting dry!
