We had a fantastic day on Friday at our Sport Relief themed day. KS1 braved the cold in the morning and were helped out by year 3 (who are definitely sports leaders in the making) on all the activities. Their events included; long jump, skipping, tennis, beanbag relay and target throw. All the children had a lovely time and there was great sportsmanship on display at all times.

KS2 had their turn in the afternoon and were in the very safe hands of the Sport Crew. It was great to see them instructing and encouraging everyone on all the activities. KS2’s events were; Football Dribble (run by Ethan and Sammy D,) Chest push (run by Hetty and India,) Crazy Catch (run by Tyler and Finn,) Javelin (run by Sean and Freddie,) Speed Bounce (run by Rosie and Leila,) Skipping (run by Ruby and Choi-Ying) and Long Jump (run by Waheed and Sam C-F.) There were some amazing skills on display throughout the afternoon and there was a real sense of fun and enjoyment.

Throughout the week the Sport’s Crew have also been selling the Sport Relief wrist bands. We will let you know how much we raised as soon as we know. Well done to everyone for making it such a fun day.
