04 Jan Traditional Tales

In Year 1, we have been very busy all term learning lots about ‘Traditional tales’. The children have been making story maps and learning actions to help them retell some of their favourite traditional tales. In our class assembly, the children acted out different events from Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding hood, The Gingerbread Man and The Three Little Pig.
In science we have been learning about animals and humans. At break time someone ate Carl’s cake!! A little bit like Goldilocks did when she ate the bear’s porridge. We investigated by looking at everyone’s unique finger prints and the children had lots of fun guessing and identifying the culprit. It turns out that it was Anna!
